The Scientific Committee of DDS-2024 has great pleasure in inviting you to submit your original findings for an e-poster or oral presentation in one of the following categories during the conference with the aim to disseminate knowledge and facilitate the exchange of new ideas among the members of the pharmacy profession.

Abstract Categories:
  • • Novel drugs delivery systems
  • • Nanotechnology and Nanobiotechnology
  • • Cosmeceuticals and Nutraceuticals
  • • Biomaterials and tissue engineering
  • • Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
Guidelines for the preparation of the Abstract:
  1. The abstract must be written in English and provide an informative summarising the research work.
  2. Font types: Times New Roman
  3. Font size:
    • • Title: 14 font
    • • List of authors: 12 font
    • • Affiliations: 11 font
    • • Presenting author’s email: 10 font
    • • Main body of text: 12 font
    • • Key Words: 12 font, italics.
  4. The overall word count of the abstract should not be more than 250 words.
  5. Abstract body: The abstract should be structured and shall comprise an introduction/ background, Aim and objectives, methods, results, conclusion, references
  6. The abstract should be supplemented with keywords (minimum 3 and maximum 5)
  7. The author details: Presenting author’s name should be indicated using * as superscript.
  8. Abbreviations or acronyms, except units of measurement and those widely used or known, should be defined at first mention.
  9. Please use the template published on the website to help you prepare the abstract for the e-poster presentation.
  10. Ethical Considerations: The authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of the research, plagiarism, and ethical approval in case human/ animal studies are involved. It is also the author’s responsibility to ensure that appropriate ethical/regulatory approval is taken wherever applicable for the images/data/research material presented at this conference.
  11. Any clarifications regarding abstract submission should correspond to the conference website query mail id with the subject “Abstract query” in the mail.

  • • The abstract must be submitted through online mode only
  • • The presenting author must be a registered delegate to DDS- 2024.
  • • The abstract can be submitted for e-Poster presentation by Faculty, Research Scholars, and PG students.
  • • All queries related to abstract submission should be mailed to info.nittedds@gmail.com
  • • Selected posters will be categorized into Oral/e poster presentation based on the novelty and relevance and the same will be intimated by email
  • • Acceptance or rejection of the submitted abstract will be intimated to the authors in three working days.
  • • Last date for submitting the abstract is Aug 18, 2024
  • • Only the presenting author will be receiving the certificate of presentation.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • 1. Duration:
    • Presentation: 10 minutes.
    • Discussion/Q&A: 2 minutes following the presentation.
  • 2. Content:
    • Ensure your presentation covers the key aspects of your study, including objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
    • Highlight the novelty and significance of your research.
  • 3. Slide Preparation:
    • Use a clear and professional layout with readable fonts and appropriate colours.
    • Limit the amount of text on each slide; use bullet points for key information.
    • Include relevant images, graphs, and tables to illustrate your points.
Awards:
  • • Papers adjudged as best in e-Poster presentation sessions by an independent jury will be given “Best oral presentation awards” in each theme during the valedictory function.
